The historical museum in the village Zafirovo was created in 1987 on the initiative of the local community center. The museum is housed in one-storey building and has four exhibition halls. In the first hall are the primitive tools, a map of Roman provinces and the Roman road along the Danube river, the remains of a Thracian mound near. Sokol. In the second room are exposed wooden tools, pottery, traditional models, male and female costumes and more. In the third room are exposed to written documents about important events dating from Ottoman rule. In the last (highest) hall is mainly pictures from the life of local people by 1985.
